Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Puzzip is a free puzzle website. We have kept it as private as we can: there are no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising trackers.

What is stored on your device

Your progress (puzzles solved, streak, favourites, light or dark mode, sound settings, postcards and artifacts) is saved in your own browser using local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

What we receive

Puzzip is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Our lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download the fonts. Google receives your IP address when this happens. See Google's privacy policy.

Email

If you email us at hello@puzzip.com, we use your message and address only to reply. Our email is hosted by Zoho.

Cookies

Puzzip does not set cookies. If we ever add advertising or other services that use cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Children

Puzzip is a general-audience puzzle site and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because we do not keep accounts, we normally hold nothing beyond any emails you send us. Contact hello@puzzip.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
